What we Offer:
The Arrow Equestrian Centre offers a quiet haven where the high standards of Classical Riding are promoted and maintained alongside a range of complementary techniques and therapies
Listening to the horse with your eyes, ears, body and heart is the first step to Classical Riding. To “listen” one must first learn to be “quiet” and this is only possible through a correctly balanced seat. Sue Nevill-Parker will help you to master the core skills of body awareness, balance and control so that you can ride with feel and sensitivity.
The Arrow schoolmasters also play a key role in helping riders develop this correct “feel” for what is right and will enable students to experience the more advanced movements.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have been riding for years, we have a horse that will teach you how to ride with elegance and finesse .
You can also bring your own horse so that we can help you to form a better partnership based on trust and confidence - there is no greater reward than that your horse willingly offers you his best. At Arrow Equestrian no horse is ever forced or fixed by gadgets or people.
Horses and humans learn best when they are mentally and physically relaxed and Weston House Farm with its 260 acres of traditionally farmed land provides the perfect environment in which horses and horsemanship can flourish. Based in picturesque Herefordshire, on the borders between England and Wales, you can relax and take in the superb scenery that surrounds you. Accommodation can be offered locally in a variety of pubs, hotels and guest houses all offering a friendly welcome and excellent home cooked food at a reasonable price |
