Arrow Training:
Arrow Training is a club formed by “the two Sue’s” to promote Classical Horsemanship including Dressage, Jumping, Theory and Ground Work/Work in Hand. It is non profit making and enables a wide range of workshops and courses to be organised both with the two Sue’s and with other experienced teachers who complement the Arrow philosophy. Members are given priority bookings and discounts at Arrow events and receive quarterly newsletters which contain all the latest news on training, clinics, events etc…
Arrow Week is an annual event for riders who wish to benefit from some intensive work over several days. You can bring your own horses and/or benefit from riding our small selection of superb schoolmasters who will greatly enhance your learning experience. Each day consists of work on the lunge, theory, flat work, jumping, video, dismounted workshops and a lot of fun! A “Pic 'n Mix” Menu enables you to choose a programme to suit your needs so that you can do as much or as little as you want. Private and group sessions are available.
The Arrow Philosophy:
Our philosophy is based on the teachings of Erik Herbermann, author of "Dressage Formula" and “A Horseman’s Notebook” and his mentor, Egon von Neindorff by which the nature of the horse is always respected and preserved. This philosophy is a way of life which encompasses all aspects of horsemanship, not only in dressage, jumping, and work in hand but also ensuring the physical and mental well being of our friend, the horse. Arrow Training offers expertise at every level to help riders develop a deeper understanding of horses and how to communicate with them. Exploring this unique combination of skills is both empowering and rewarding.
